Ingredients

  • 6 fresh juicy corncobs
  • 2 tbsp- Butter
  • 1/2 tsp - dried herb of your choice (oregano, mint, etc.)
  • salt to taste

How to Make Buttered Corn Cobs

  • Trim the waste ends of the cobs.
  • Wash under running water.
  • Add enough salt to the butter and melt.
  • Brush liberally with melted butter.
  • Place in a wide bowl to fit either in a circle or side by side.
  • Sprinkle the crushed herb over the cobs.
  • Cover loosely and cook on high for 3- 3.5 minutes.
  • Turn around once in between.
  • Cover and stand for 2-3 minutes.
  • Serve hot with holders.
