Ingredients

  • 1 medium - cabbage, chopped fairly large
  • ¼ kg - beans, cut in big pieces
  • 2 - onions, chopped
  • 2 - tomatoes, chopped
  • 1 tsp - Garlic paste
  • 2 - green chillies, chopped
  • 2 tbsp - oil
  • 1 tsp - chilli powder
  • 1/2 tsp - Turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp - Garam Masala powder
  • 1 tsp - cumin powder
  • 1 small piece of Cinnamon
  • A few Curry leaves
  • 3 tbsp - Coconut paste
  • 2 tbsp - chopped Coriander leaves
  • Salt to taste

How to Make Cabbage And Beans Curry

  • Heat oil in a pan and saute the onions, cinnamon, and curry leaves for a little while.
  • Add the tomatoes, garlic paste, green chillies, chilli powder, turmeric, garam masala/spice powder, cumin powder, coconut paste, and salt and stir fry till the oil separates from the mixture.
  • Add cabbage, beans, and 1 cup of water and simmer on low heat till the gravy thickens.
  • Garnish with chopped coriander leaves.
