How to Make Cabbage And Carrot Side Dish

  • Heat oil and saute the onions till light brown.
  • Add the red chillies, coriander and cumin seeds and fry for a minute.
  • Then add the tomato and stir fry till for a few minutes.
  • Add the shredded cabbage and carrots and stir fry for a couple of minutes.
  • Add the chilli powder, salt coconut and turmeric powder and mix well.
  • Simmer for about 5 to 7 minutes on low heat till the cabbage and carrots are cooked.
  • Serve as a side dish with rice and chapattis.
