Ingredients

  • 3 cups - cabbage
  • 1.5 tbsp - grated coconut
  • 1 tsp - cumin seeds
  • 3 - green chillies
  • 4 sprigs - coriander
  • 1 tsp - oil
  • 1/2 tsp - mustard seed
  • 4 - curry leaves
  • a pinch - asafoetida
  • 1 tsp - lemon juice
  • a pinch - turmeric
  • Salt as per taste.

How to Make Cabbage Green Chilli Sabzi

  • Crush coconut, green chillies, coriander, cumin and asafoetida without adding water.
  • Heat oil in pan; temper with mustard seeds, curry leaves and turmeric and add the masala mix and saute for a minute.
  • Add the chopped cabbage, salt and mix and keep on a low flame, covered, until done.
  • Remove from stove and add lemon juice.
  • Serve.
