Ingredients

  • Rice - 1/2 kg
  • Toor Dal - 1/4 kg
  • Cabbage - 1 quarter
  • Grated Coconut dry - 1 half
  • Onions small - 4
  • Red Chillies - 10
  • Coriander leaves
  • Salt to taste
  • How to Make Cabbage Uthappam:

    1. Mix rice and toor dal and soak it for 3 hours.
    2. Grind and make a batter of the above mixture.
    3. Add red chillies and grated copra to the batter and grind it to fine paste.
    4. To this add finely chopped cabbage, onions, coriander leaves and salt according to taste.
    5. Heat the non-stick pan (tava) and pour the batter.
    6. Cook on both sides.
    7. Serve hot with ghee and coconut chutney.
