How to Make

  • Soak the dal for 5 hours.
  • Grind it to a coarse paste with salt and green chilli and add shredded cabbage and finely chopped coriander leaves into the dal paste.
  • Heat oil for deep frying.
  • Take a little paste at a time and spread it on a wet plastic sheet to make vada.
  • Gently drop each vada into the hot oil and fry till golden brown
  • Serve.
