  • 225g - flour
  • 1.5 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp - salt
  • 55g - Butter
  • 55g - Sugar
  • 1 - Egg
  • 100 ml - cold Milk
  • A few drops of vanilla essence
  • 1/2 tsp - Cinnamon powder

How to Make Cake Doughnuts with eggs

  • Sift flour with baking powder. Rub in the fat.
  • Beat eggs add milk and flavouring.
  • Mix flour with egg, milk salt and form into smooth dough.
  • Turn on to a floured board.
  • Knead and divide into equal sized portions.
  • Cut into doughnuts and fry in hot oil till golden brown.
  • Turn doughnut on to a paper which has been sprinkled with sugar and cinnamon.
