Ingredients

  • 225g - flour
  • 1.5 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp - salt
  • 55g - Butter
  • 55g - Sugar
  • 1 - Egg
  • 100 ml - cold Milk
  • A few drops of vanilla essence
  • 1/2 tsp - Cinnamon powder
  • How to Make Cake Doughnuts with eggs:

    1. Sift flour with baking powder. Rub in the fat.
    2. Beat eggs add milk and flavouring.
    3. Mix flour with egg, milk salt and form into smooth dough.
    4. Turn on to a floured board.
    5. Knead and divide into equal sized portions.
    6. Cut into doughnuts and fry in hot oil till golden brown.
    7. Turn doughnut on to a paper which has been sprinkled with sugar and cinnamon.
