Ingredients

  • 2 - capsicums, chopped
  • 2 - onions, chopped finely
  • 250 g - cottage cheese, cut into cubes
  • 2 - tomatoes, chopped
  • 2 - green chillies, chopped
  • 1 tsp - chopped Garlic
  • 1 tsp - Ginger Garlic paste
  • 1 tsp - cumin powder
  • 1/2 tsp - Turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp - Garam Masala
  • 2 tsp - chilli powder
  • 1 tsp - coriander powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 tbsp - oil
  • 2 tsp - Chopped Coriander leaves

How to Make Capsicum And Cottage Cheese (Paneer)

  • Heat oil in a pan and add the chopped garlic, green chillies and onions and saute till the onions turn light brown.
  • Add the chopped tomato, ginger garlic paste and fry till the tomatoes turn pulpy.
  • Add the chilli powder, turmeric powder, garam masala/spice powder, cumin powder, coriander powder and salt and a little water and fry for a few minutes.
  • Add the capsicum and Paneer/cottage cheese and a little water and simmer on low heat for about 6 minutes.
  • Garnish with the chopped coriander leaves.
  • Serve with rice or chapattis or puris.
