Ingredients

  • 1 - capsicum
  • 1/4 tsp - mustard seeds
  • 1/4 tsp - cumin seeds
  • 1/2 tsp - cumin powder
  • 1/4 tsp - methi powder
  • 1.5 tsp - sesame powder
  • 1 - small onion chopped (optional)
  • 1/4 tsp - turmeric
  • 1/4 tsp - ginger-garlic paste
  • 3 tsp - oil
  • A little parsley
  • 1 tsp - lemon juice
  • salt to taste

How to Make Capsicum Masala Fry

  • Cut the capsicum into small pieces.
  • Heat the pan with oil, and add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, turmeric, ginger-garlic paste, and onions to it.
  • Cook for 2-3 minutes till the onions turn a little brown.
  • Then add capsicum pieces, cumin powder, methi powder, sesame powder, lemon juice, and some salt.
  • Cook for at least 5 - 10 minutes until the capsicum leaves the oil.
  • Now garnish it with parsley.
  • Serve with chapati or with rice alongside sambar.
