  • 3/4 cup - Whole meal flour
  • 1/2 cup - Plain flour
  • 3 tbsp - Butter
  • 3 tbsp - Brown sugar
  • 1 Egg - yolk
  • 1 tsp - Cardamom powder
  • A few cashewnuts or almonds to decorate.

How to Make Cardamom Cookies

  • Preheat the oven to 180 degree Celsius.
  • Cream the butter and sugar well.
  • Add the egg yolk and cardamom powder and mix well.
  • Now add the flour and knead it into a smooth dough.
  • Divide the dough into walnut sized balls.
  • Flatten the portion and press a cashewnut or almond on the top.
  • Place it on the tray.
  • Now bake it in the preheated oven for 10 to 15 mins.
