  • 1 cup - fresh carom (ajwain) leaves, chopped
  • 1 tbsp - fresh thick curd
  • 3-4 red chillies
  • 1/2 tsp - cumin seeds
  • 1 tbsp - sugar
  • 1 salt to taste
  • 1 tbsp - oil

How to Make Carom Leaves Surprise

  • Heat, oil fry leaves, chillies, sugar, seeds.
  • Cool a bit, grind with salt and curd.
  • Serve as a dip or an accompaniment to fresh cut crudites.
