Ingredients

  • 1 - Carrot
  • 1 litre - Milk
  • 20 - Almonds
  • 2 cups - Sugar
  • Elaichi powder
  • A pinch - saffron, soaked in little Milk
  • 1 tbsp - Cashew nuts
  • 1 tsp - Ghee
  • How to Make Carrot Dessert:

    1. Soak the almonds in warm water for an hour. Remove the skin and keep it aside.
    2. Grate the carrot and grind it along with the peeled almonds.
    3. Keep the paste aside.
    4. Heat the milk in a thick bottomed kadai and reduce it by 3/4th.
    5. Add sugar and stir again till the milk becomes a little thick.
    6. Add the carrot and almond paste and keep stirring.
    7. Remove it from the stove
    8. Add the saffron milk and elaichi powder to it.
    9. Fry cashew nuts in ghee and add it to the milk.
    10. Cool in fridge and serve.
