Ingredients

  • 500 g - Carrot peeled, grated
  • 200 ml - Milk
  • 1/2 cup - Sugar ground
  • 1/2 cup - khoya or Milk powder
  • 1 tbsp - Ghee
  • 1 tbsp - almonds, pistachios, chopped
  • 1/2 tsp - Cardamom powder
  • 1/4 tsp - Saffron crushed

How to Make Carrot Halwa in Microwave

  • Mix carrot and milk in a deep microwave proof bowl
  • Microwave on high for 8 min. Stand for 5 mins
  • Stir well, add khoya or milk powder and sugar and stir again.
  • Microwave on high for 8 mins. Stand for 3 mins
  • Add ghee, cardamom powder and mix well.
  • Microwave on high for 2 mins
  • Garnish with chopped nuts
  • Serve hot or cooled.
  • Reheat in in microwave for 1 min before serving
