Ingredients

  • Carrot - 1/2 kg
  • Tomato - 3
  • Grated Coconut - 1/2 cup
  • Green chillies - 5
  • Ginger - 1/2 inch piece
  • Garlic - 5 Cloves
  • Onion - 3
  • Cardamom - 2
  • Cloves - 2
  • Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil - 1 tsp
  • How to Make Carrot Kurma:

    1. Grind coconut, chillies, ginger and garlic together.
    2. Cut carrot into small pieces. Boil it and keep aside.
    3. Heat oil in a pan. Add the masalas and onion and fry it.
    4. Then add tomatoes and fry for a minute.
    5. To this, add boiled carrot and ground masala (mixture)
    6. Boil it till the gravy becomes thick.
    7. Serve.
