Ingredients

  • 1 cup - grated Carrot
  • 1/2 tsp - grated Ginger
  • 1/2 tsp - Khus Khus
  • 3-4 - hot pepper, chopped
  • 2 tbsp - Olive oil (or any vegetable oil)
  • 1 cup - basmati Rice
  • salt to taste
  • How to Make Carrot Rice with khus-khus:

    1. Rinse and soak the rice with a measured amount of water for 30 minutes, then cook it and keep aside.
    2. Heat oil in a pan and saute the carrot, ginger, khus khus and pepper for 2-3 minutes.
    3. Add salt and blend well.
    4. Add this mixture to the rice with a fork and mix well. Serve hot.
