  • 250 gm - cauliflower
  • 250 gm - broccoli
  • Grated parmesan cheese
  • For the sauce:
  • 200 ml - milk
  • 1 tbsp - butter
  • 1 tbsp - flour
  • a pinch nutmeg
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

How to Make Cauliflower broccoli au gratin

  • For the sauce:
  • Melt butter in a pan.
  • Add flour, milk, salt, pepper and nutmeg.
  • Stir the mixture continuously and let it cook, till it acquires a creamy consistency.
  • For the florets:
  • Rinse the cauliflower and the broccoli. Boil in salt water. Drain.
  • Place on a baking dish.
  • Pour sauce over the cauliflower and broccoli. Sprinkle with grated cheese and let it brown a little in the oven. Serve hot.
