Ingredients

  • 500 g -cauliflower
  • 1 tsp - soya sauce
  • 2 tsp - Tomato sauce
  • 1 tsp - chilli sauce
  • 1 tsp - Vinegar
  • 1/2 cup -maida
  • 1/4 cup - Corn flour
  • 1/2 cup - chopped Onion
  • 1 inch piece - Ginger
  • 1 tsp - Red Chilli powder
  • A pinch - biriyani colour
  • Salt to taste
  • A pinch - soda
  • Oil for frying
  • How to Make Cauliflower Manchurian with Soya Sauce:

    1. Cut cauliflower into small florets, add soya sauce and marinate for 30 mins.
    2. Take maida (save a tsp maida for curry), corn flour, soda add salt and mix well with water.
    3. Dip cauliflower in this mixture and fry till light brown.
    4. Now in a kadai take some oil, add mustard seeds.
    5. When it splutters, add ginger and stir for few sec and then add onions.
    6. When onions become a little brown add both the sauces and stir well for 3 mins.
    7. Mix 1 tsp maida separately in water so that there are no lumps.
    8. Now add vinegar, salt, red chilli powder in the kadai and let it boil.
    9. Lastly, add the cauliflower and stir well. Serve after garnishing with spring onions.
