Ingredients

  • 500g cauliflower
  • 2 large potatoes
  • 100g green peas
  • 2 large onions
  • 6 cloves garlic
  • 1in ginger
  • 3 or 4 green chillies
  • 2 tsp coriander powder
  • 1 tsp amchur powder or 1 lime
  • 1 tsp garam masala
  • 1 tsp turmeric

How to Make Cauliflower Sabji

  • Cut cauliflower and potatoes into large pieces.
  • Chop onion, ginger, garlic and green chillies.
  • In a wok heat 1 tbsp oil. When the oil is heated add onion, ginger, garlic and green chillies.
  • When the onion starts browning add cauliflower, potatoes and green peas.
  • Add a little turmeric. Stir fry for 5 mins.
  • Add salt to taste and cover the vessel with a tight lid. Cook for about 10 mins on slow fire.
  • Lastly, add coriander powder, garam masala and lime juice/amchur powder to taste.
  • Garnish with finely chopped coriander leaves on top. Serve with rotis.
