Ingredients

  • 1 cup - Maida
  • 1/2 tsp - Ajwain seeds
  • 2 tsp - Ghee
  • Salt to taste
  • Lukewarm water, as required
  • Oil to Deep Fried

How to Make Chaat Puri

  • Add maida, ghee/oil, ajwain and salt in a bowl and mix well.
  • Add water, knead a medium hard dough.
  • Cover with a damp cloth and keep aside for 15 mins.
  • Roll in a big sized chappati with medium thickness.
  • Cut into small puris using a round mould.
  • Prick with fork to avoid puffing up.
  • Heat oil in a kadai and Deep Fried until light golden and crispy.
  • Remove and place on a tissue and store in an airtight container.
