Ingredients

  • chamba raw Rice flour - 1 cup
  • Green chillies - 1 tsp, minced
  • Cumin seeds - 1 tsp
  • grated Coconut - ½ cup
  • oil to roast
  • salt to taste
  • How to Make Chamba Rice Akki Rotti:

    1. Mix rice with all the ingredients except the oil.
    2. Add enough water and prepare a soft dough.
    3. (It should be softer than chapati dough and slightly sticky).
    4. Divide the dough into 6 portions.
    5. Take a plastic sheet or banana leaf and keep a portion of dough on it.
    6. With moist fingers, press the dough into ¼ cm thick disc.
    7. Heat a griddle and transfer the disc on it.
    8. Roast using a little oil on both sides.
    9. Serve with chutney or curry.
