  • 2 cups - Rice
  • 1/2 cup - Chana dal
  • 1/4 cup - Urad Dal
  • 3 - medium-sized Tomatoes
  • 4 - Green chillies
  • 4 tbsp - fresh Coconut
  • 2 tsp - Jeera powder
  • 3 tsp - coriander powder
  • 2- finely chopped Onions
  • 1/2 cup - chopped Coriander leaves
  • A few Curry leaves
  • Salt to taste
  • How to Make Chana Dal Dosa:

    1. Soak rice, chana dal, and urad dal for 7 hours.
    2. Grind to a smooth paste like of a dosa batter. Let it ferment overnight.
    3. Grind tomatoes, coconut, and green chillies to a smooth paste. Add to the fermented batter.
    4. Now add jeera and coriander powder, chopped onions, coriander leaves, curry leaves, and salt according to taste. Mix all the ingredients.
    5. Heat a griddle, pour the batter, and spread it thinly.
    6. Drizzle oil on the side.
    7. Cook both sides till done. Repeat with rest of the batter.
