  • 2 cups - Channa dal
  • 2 - onions, finely chopped
  • 5 to 6 - green chillies, crushed
  • 2 tbsp - coriander, finely chopped
  • 2 tbsp - gram flour
  • Oil to deep fry
  • Salt to taste
  • How to Make Channa Dal Kebabs:

    1. Soak channa dal for 2 hours in water.
    2. Wash and drain the dal, save a tbsp of the dal.
    3. Grind the dal, using little water as possible.
    4. Add the whole dal, coriander, chillies, gram flour, salt.
    5. Squeeze out any water from the chopped onions.
    6. Add to the dal, add mix well.
    7. Heat oil for deep frying.
    8. Make small kabab shapes
    9. Deep fry on medium heat, till it becomes crispy and golden.
    10. Serve hot with chutney or ketchup
