  • 2 cups - channa dal
  • 2 - onions, finely chopped
  • 5 to 6 - green chillies, crushed
  • 2 tbsp - coriander, finely chopped
  • 2 tbsp - gram flour
  • Oil to deep fry
  • Salt to taste

How to Make Channa Dal Kebabs

  • Soak channa dal for 2 hours in water.
  • Wash and drain the dal, save a tbsp of the dal.
  • Grind the dal, using little water as possible.
  • Add the whole dal, coriander, chillies, gram flour, salt.
  • Squeeze out any water from the chopped onions.
  • Add to the dal, add mix well.
  • Heat oil for deep frying.
  • Make small kabab shapes
  • Deep fry on medium heat, till it becomes crispy and golden.
  • Serve hot with chutney or ketchup
