Ingredients

  • 2 cups - Channa dal
  • 200 g - khoya
  • 1 tsp - Cardamom powder
  • 2 tbsp - melon seeds, peeled
  • 2 cups - powdered Sugar
  • 100 g - Ghee
  • 2 tbsp - chopped Pistachios
  • How to Make Channa Dal Laddoo:

    1. Soak the channa dal for 6 hours.
    2. Drain wash and grind to a smooth paste. Heat ghee in a kadai and roast the dal on low heat.
    3. When the dal mixture leaves the sides and an aroma arises, remove from heat.
    4. In another pan, roast khoya on low heat till light golden.
    5. In 1 tsp ghee, fry the melon seeds and chopped pistachios.
    6. Mix sugar and all the ingredients together with hand so that it is well mixed.
    7. Take lemon-sized balls of the mixture and shape into laddoos.
