  • 10 slices - bread
  • 4 - small onions, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp - Mustard Seeds
  • 1 tsp - Urad Dal
  • 1 tsp - Channa dal
  • 1 tsp - Turmeric powder
  • 2 - green chillies, finely chopped
  • salt to taste
  • Coriander leaves for garnishing
  • How to Make Channa-Urad Dal Bread Upma:

    1. Soak the bread slices in water for a minute.
    2. Heat oil in a pan and roast the mustard seeds, urad dal and channa dal.
    3. Add the onions and fry until pink.
    4. Add turmeric powder and green chillies and saute well.
    5. Mash the soaked bread into small pieces and add to the pan. Fry along with the other ingredients.
    6. Add salt to taste and stir for 5-6 minutes.
    7. Garnish with coriander leaves and serve.
