Ingredients

  • Wheat flour- 1 cup
  • Water - to knead
  • Salt to taste

How to Make Chapati

  • Mix the flour, salt and water and knead it into a dough.
  • Cover it for 10-30 mins.
  • Divide it into equal portions.
  • Roll each portion into a round shape.
  • Heat a tawa and place the chapati and turn it until brown spots appear on both sides.
  • Take it off the tawa and bake the chapati on the burner.
  • The chapati will fluff up and get cooked in 2-3 secs.
  • Spread ghee over the chapati and serve with curry.
