  • 2 - Potatoes
  • 2 tsp - Lemon juice
  • 3 tsp - Red chilli powder
  • A pinch - Hing
  • 1 tsp - Mustard seeds
  • 1 tsp - Jeera seeds
  • 1 tsp - Roasted jeera powder
  • Salt - to taste
  • A few - Curry leaves
  • Coriander leaves, chopped

How to Make Chatpata Potato

  • Wash and peel potatoes, cut length wise.
  • Apply salt to the potatoes, microwave till tender.
  • In kadai, heat a little oil
  • Add mustard and jeera seeds, cook for a 30 seconds.
  • Add hing, curry leaves, and chilli powder, mix well and cook for 30 seconds.
  • Add potatoes, jeera powder, salt, and lemon juice.
  • Mix well so that the potatoes are coated with the mixture.
  • Adjust salt, lemon juice, and chilli powder according to taste.
  • Garnish with chopped green coriander leaves.
