Ingredients

  • 1 bowl Rice
  • 3/4 bowl Wheat flour
  • 1tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp crushed Jeera
  • 1/2 tsp crushed Cloves
  • 1 tsp chilli powder
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • Oil to fry
  • Water for mixing

How to Make Chawal ki Puri

  • Put rice in a mixing bowl and add all the dry ingredients.
  • Put 1 tbsp of oil and mix.
  • Add enough flour to hold the rice as too much flour will ruin the taste.
  • Then, add water little by little and make the dough slightly tighter than the chapatti dough.
  • Make a round ball as big as chapatti rounds.
  • Roll into a round chapatti shape.
  • Shallow fry on a griddle or frying pan.
  • Serve with curd, chutney etc.
