Ingredients

  • 1 bowl Rice
  • 3/4 bowl Wheat flour
  • 1tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp crushed Jeera
  • 1/2 tsp crushed Cloves
  • 1 tsp chilli powder
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • Oil to fry
  • Water for mixing
  • How to Make Chawal ki Puri:

    1. Put rice in a mixing bowl and add all the dry ingredients.
    2. Put 1 tbsp of oil and mix.
    3. Add enough flour to hold the rice as too much flour will ruin the taste.
    4. Then, add water little by little and make the dough slightly tighter than the chapatti dough.
    5. Make a round ball as big as chapatti rounds.
    6. Roll into a round chapatti shape.
    7. Shallow fry on a griddle or frying pan.
    8. Serve with curd, chutney etc.
