Ingredients

  • 2.5 cups - all-purpose flour
  • 1 tbsp - baking powder
  • 1 cup - grated cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup - chopped fresh Parsley
  • 1/4 cup - Butter
  • 1/2 tsp - salt
  • 1 tsp - dried Thyme
  • 2 eggs - slightly beaten
  • To combine:
  • 1/4 cup - Milk
  • 1/4 cup - light Cream
  • How to Make Cheddar cheese and olive triangles:

    1. Preheat oven to 400F.
    2. In a bowl, combine the flour, cheese, parsley, baking powder, thyme and salt.
    3. Add butter and mix with hand until mixture is crumbly.
    4. Gradually add the eggs, combined milk and cream. Stir until just moistened.
    5. Place the dough on a lightly floured plate and knead for 1 minute or until smooth.
    6. Divide the dough in half. Roll each half into an 8 inch circle.
    7. Cut each circle into 8 triangles.
    8. Place the triangles 1 inch apart on cookie sheets.
    9. Bake for 15 mins. or until lightly browned.
