Ingredients

  • 8 slices - bread
  • 1 tbsp - chopped Coriander leaves
  • 4 slices - cheese
  • Butter as required
  • 3 - green chillies, finely chopped
  • 4 - eggs
  • 1 - large onion, finely chopped
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • Ghee

How to Make Cheese and Egg Fried Sandwiches

  • Butter the slices of bread.
  • Place a slice of cheese between two slices. Press down and halve the sandwich diagonally.
  • Break the eggs into a shallow plate and beat well. Keep aside.
  • Mix onion, coriander leaves and chillies and season with salt and pepper. Add the beaten eggs.
  • Soak the sandwich in the egg mixture, allowing a generous coating on both sides.
  • Fry in hot ghee until golden brown.
