Ingredients

  • 4-5 - potatoes
  • Breadcrumbs - as needed
  • 1 - egg (beaten)
  • 1.5 cups - grated cheese
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1.5 tsp - baking powder
  • Flour - as needed
  • ghee/oil as required

How to Make Cheese and Potato Croquettes

  • Boil, peel and mash the potatoes while hot.
  • Mix with the cheese, egg yolk, baking powder, salt and pepper.
  • Prepare croquettes and roll in the flour.
  • Then roll in the beaten egg mixed with 1.5 cups of water and dip in the breadcrumbs.
  • Fry until golden brown.
