Ingredients

  • 125 g - cheese, grated
  • 100 g - breadcrumbs
  • 2 - large Tomatoes (peeled and chopped)
  • 1 tsp - prepared mustard
  • 1 - Egg (beaten)
  • a pinch - chilli powder
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • chopped Coriander leaves
  • 1 tbsp - Butter

How to Make Cheese and Tomato Spread

  • Heat the butter, add tomatoes and cook for about 5 minutes.
  • Add the cheese and breadcrumbs and mix well.
  • Stir in the egg and blend well over gentle heat.
  • Add the coriander leaves.
  • Season with mustard, chilli powder, salt and pepper and coriander leaves.
  • Cool and use as a sandwich spread or on toast.
