Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup - Crumbled soft paneer
  • 1/2 tsp - Salt
  • 1/2 tsp - Baking powder
  • 1 cup - Plain flour
  • 1 tbsp - Lemon juice
  • 1/8 tsp - Nutmeg powder
  • 1/8 tsp - Cardamom powder
  • 1 - egg, lightly beaten
  • 3/4 - sugar
  • 5 tbsp - Butter, softened
  • 1/4 cup - Crushed almonds

How to Make Cheese Cookies

  • Beat butter and sugar, till light and fluffy. Add egg and lemon juice, beat well. Add flour, baking powder, salt, nutmeg and cardamom
  • Add paneer and beat till it is blended properly
  • Add almond, mix it well
  • Form small flattish rounds
  • Preheat oven
  • Place these flat biscuits on a baking sheet
  • Give them space as the biscuits will expand while baking.
  • Bake at 150 degree Celsius for 15 minutes or till light brown
  • Cool well before removing. Store in airtight jars
