Ingredients

  • 125 g - flour
  • 125 g - grated cheese
  • 60 g - Butter
  • a pinch of chilli powder
  • 200 g - sausage Meat
  • a pinch of mustard powder
  • 1/2 cup - chopped Spring onion
  • 2 tbsp - chopped Coriander leaves
  • Milk and water
  • How to Make Cheese Cups with Sausage Meat:

    1. Knead together the flour, cheese, butter, chilli and mustard powder with a little water and milk to make a smooth pliable dough. Roll out.
    2. Cut in circles and line small greased round pastry cups.
    3. Bake in a moderate oven (177 degrees C) for 10 - 15 minutes, cool and remove carefully from cups.
    4. Fry the sausage meat with the chopped onions and coriander leaves. Add a chopped tomato if desired.
    5. Cool and fill pastry cups. Place on a warm rack till serving time.
