Ingredients

  • 1 cup - milk cheese
  • 1/4 cup - flour
  • 2/3 cups - milk
  • 3 tbsp - butter
  • 1/2 cup - ground cheese
  • 2 tbsp - chopped celery
  • 2 tbsp - chopped spinach
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • bread crumbs

How to Make Cheese Nut Croquettes

  • Melt butter, add flour and fry for 1 min.
  • Add 2/3 cup milk and stir till thick. Add ground cheese.
  • Fold in milk cheese, finely chopped, 2 tbsps. celery, chopped peanuts, salt and pepper to taste.
  • Spread mixture in a greased shallow pan.
  • Cool, cut into fingers and roll in breadcrumbs.
  • Fry and serve hot.
