Ingredients

  • 250g - prawns, shelled and deveined
  • 1/2 cup - Maida
  • 4 tbsp - cheddar cheese, grated
  • 2 tbsp - Lime juice
  • 1/2 tsp - salt
  • 1 tsp - freshly ground black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp - cooking soda
  • oil to deep fry

How to Make Cheesy Prawns

  • Mix prawns with lime juice and salt.
  • Keep aside for 10 to 15 minutes.
  • Combine all the ingredients remaining ingredients together.
  • Add enough water to make a thick coating batter.
  • Dip prawns in the batter and deep fry.
  • Drain well and serve with tartar sauce.
