Ingredients

  • Rajma - 2 cups
  • Finely Sliced Onion - 1 cup
  • Tomato - 2
  • A ball of tamarind
  • Garam masala - 1 tsp
  • Chilli Powder - 1 tsp
  • A pinch of asafoetida
  • Ginger-garlic paste - 1 tsp
  • Grated cheese - 1 tsp
  • Chopped coriander leaves - 1 tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil - 2 tbsp

How to Make Cheesy Rajma

  • Boil the rajma and keep it aside. Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a kadai and saute the onions.
  • Put the tomatoes in boiled water for 10 minutes. Peel off the skin and cut them into fine pieces.
  • Add the tomatoes and tamarind juice. Add the garam masala, chilli powder, asafoetida, ginger-garlic paste, and salt.
  • Add the rajma and cook for 5 to 10 minutes.
  • Garnish with grated cheese and chopped coriander leaves.
