  • 1.5 cups - spinach, blanched and chopped finely
  • 1.5 cups - corn, boiled
  • 2 cups - cheese, grated (or as required)
  • 3 tbsp - Butter
  • 3 tbsp - flour
  • 3 cups - Milk
  • 1 tsp - cracked black pepper
  • salt to taste
  • How to Make Cheesy spinach-corn bake:

    1. Melt the butter. Then add the maida and stir constantly.
    2. Cook till the raw smell of maida goes away.
    3. Be careful not to brown the maida.
    4. When the maida is done, add in the milk and whisk so you do away with any lumps.
    5. Add the pepper powder. Stir the white sauce until it becomes thick.
    6. Add in the spinach, boiled corn, and cheese, and mix it. Season it using salt and simmer for 5 to 7 minutes.
    7. Shift it to an ovenproof dish. Top it with some more grated cheese.
    8. Bake in a preheated oven at 200 degrees until the cheese melts and is slightly brown in colour.
