Ingredients

  • Butter - 3 tbsp
  • chopped Garlic - 2 tsp
  • Onion - 1 cup, minced
  • Chicken breast - 250 gm, cut into strips
  • Oregano - 1/2 tsp
  • chili flakes - 1/2 tsp
  • Chicken stock - 1 liter
  • Tomato - 250 gm, peeled and chopped
  • soup macaroni - 75 gm
  • Tomato puree - 1/2 cup
  • fresh Cream to garnish
  • pepper to taste
  • salt to taste

How to Make Chicken and Macaroni Soup

  • Melt butter in a heavy based pan.
  • Add garlic, fry till rich brown.
  • Add onion; fry till it turns light brown.
  • Add chicken strips cook stirring till they turn light brown.
  • Sprinkle oregano and chili flakes.
  • Stir fry for few seconds.
  • Add chicken stock, tomatoes, salt and pepper.
  • When the chicken is cooked, add macaroni.
  • Simmer till macaroni is cooked.
  • Stir in the tomato puree and simmer for 2 more minutes.
  • Serve hot with a swirl of fresh cream.
