Ingredients

  • Butter - 3 tbsp
  • chopped Garlic - 2 tsp
  • Onion - 1 cup, minced
  • Chicken breast - 250 gm, cut into strips
  • Oregano - 1/2 tsp
  • chili flakes - 1/2 tsp
  • Chicken stock - 1 liter
  • Tomato - 250 gm, peeled and chopped
  • soup macaroni - 75 gm
  • Tomato puree - 1/2 cup
  • fresh Cream to garnish
  • pepper to taste
  • salt to taste
  • How to Make Chicken and Macaroni Soup:

    1. Melt butter in a heavy based pan.
    2. Add garlic, fry till rich brown.
    3. Add onion; fry till it turns light brown.
    4. Add chicken strips cook stirring till they turn light brown.
    5. Sprinkle oregano and chili flakes.
    6. Stir fry for few seconds.
    7. Add chicken stock, tomatoes, salt and pepper.
    8. When the chicken is cooked, add macaroni.
    9. Simmer till macaroni is cooked.
    10. Stir in the tomato puree and simmer for 2 more minutes.
    11. Serve hot with a swirl of fresh cream.
