Ingredients

  • For the white sauce :
  • 2 tsp - Butter
  • 4 tsp - all purpose flour / Maida
  • 3/4 cup - Milk
  • For the cutlets :
  • 1 big cup - boneless Chicken
  • 3 tbsp - boiled peas
  • 3 tbsp - green pepper
  • 4 - finely chopped green chillies, medium sized
  • a few pieces of chopped Carrot
  • 1/4 - chopped onion, medium sized
  • 1/4 tsp - pepper powder
  • 2 slices - bread, preferably white bread
  • A few sprigs - coriander leaves, finely chopped
  • 1 pinch - cumin powder
  • 1 tsp - salt
  • 2 - eggs
  • 6 tbsp - oil

How to Make Chicken And White Sauce Cutlet

  • For the white sauce : Heat 2 tsp of butter in a pan.
  • Add 4 tsp of all purpose flour / maida and make a thick paste.
  • Switch off the stove and add 3/4 cup of milk slowly and stir a little till it becomes a thick sauce.
  • For the cutlets :
  • Shred 1 big cup of boneless chicken.
  • Add boiled peas, green pepper, chopped green chillies, chopped onion to the white sauce.
  • Add pepper powder, cumin powder, and salt to the mixture.
  • Add chopped carrot and chopped coriander leaves.
  • Pour some water over bread slices to make them soft and crush them with your hands and add to the mixture.
  • Beat 2 eggs, add a pinch of salt and keep them aside.
  • Make round flat cutlets from the mixture.
  • Dip the cutlets in beaten egg and shallow fry in 5-6 tbsp oil in a frying pan till they turn golden brown.
  • Serve it with tomato sauce or chilli sauce and a few potato chips.
