How to Make Chicken Cornwallis

  • Cut onions very finely. Heat a small amount of oil in a nonstick vessel. Chicken releases oil during cooking, so there is no need for a large amount of oil.
  • Fry onions till they turn golden.
  • Add the bag of corn along with tomatoes and spices.
  • Make a nice and thick gravy.
  • Add chicken (you can marinate the chicken for 2 hours before cooking in yogurt and ginger-garlic paste, if you like).
  • Stir the chicken in the gravy for some time for it to soak in the spices.
  • Add water and cook for some more time till the chicken becomes soft.
  • Add lime juice to taste. Chicken Cornwallis is ready for serving.
