  • 3/4 kg - chicken
  • 2-3 - medium onions
  • 1 small bunch - curry leaves
  • 1 tsp - turmeric powder
  • 1.5 tsp - red chilli powder
  • 1 tsp - garam masala powder
  • 1 tsp - coriander powder
  • 2 tbsps - ginger-garlic paste
  • Salt to taste
  • 1/4 litre - curd
  • Coriander leaves

How to Make Chicken Curd Gravy

  • Wash the chicken and add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, garam masala, coriander powder, ginger-garlic paste and salt to taste.
  • Mix everything well and keep aside to marinate for 15 mins.
  • Then heat oil in a kadai, add finely cut onions and the curry leaves. Saute.
  • Then add the marinated chicken to kadai and stir well for about 5-10 mins.
  • Add the curds and stir to form a thick gravy for about 10-15 mins.
  • Once cooked, garnish with coriander leaves.
  • Serve hot with hot rice or chapattis.
