Ingredients

  • 500 g - chicken, cut into 8 pieces
  • 1 cup - Milk
  • 2 tbsp - Lemon juice
  • For green paste:
  • 2 - spring onions, chopped with green portion
  • 4 to 5 - Green chillies
  • 1/2 cup - coriander, chopped
  • 1/2 cup - mint, chopped
  • 10 flakes - Garlic
  • 1.5 inch - Ginger piece
  • 2 tbsp - oil
  • 1 tsp - Cumin seeds
  • 1.5 tsp - salt

How to Make Chicken Hariyali

  • Grind together all the green paste ingredients into a smooth paste in a mixer.
  • Saute this paste in a pressure pan for 5 minutes. Add chicken and mix well.
  • Cook until the chicken is done.
  • To serve, add milk and boil for 3 minutes.
  • Mix lemon juice and sprinkle some garam masala and chopped coriander.
  • Serve hot.
