Ingredients

  • Fresh groundnut paste - 100 g
  • 2 - Onions
  • 20 g - fresh pepper green
  • Red Palm oil - 2 tbsp
  • 1 - whole Chicken
  • Maggi cubes - 8

How to Make Chicken in Groundnut Soup

  • Heat palm oil in a big pot. Fry the chopped onions and add the groundnut paste. Keep stirring on low flame.
  • Pour 7 cups of water initially and after boiling another cup.
  • Boil for 30 minutes until the liquid becomes a little thick. Toss in the green pepper, Maggi cubes and salt. Mix and cook for 10 minutes.
  • Add the chicken and simmer for 20 minutes.
