Ingredients

  • Chicken - 500 g
  • Onion - 1 cup
  • Tomato - 1 cup
  • Jeera - 2 tsp
  • Ginger-garlic paste - 5 tsp
  • Curd - 1/2 cup
  • Garam Masala powder - 1 tsp
  • Green chilli - 3, chopped
  • Red Chilli powder - 3 tsp
  • Turmeric powder - 1 tsp
  • Dhania powder - 2 tsp
  • Oil as required
  • Salt to taste
  • How to Make Chicken in Tomato-Onion Gravy:

    1. Pour some oil in a pan.
    2. Add garam masala when the oil heats up.
    3. Add ginger and garlic paste.
    4. Add the onions and green chillies and fry until golden brown.
    5. Add the chicken, jeera, red chilli powder, turmeric, dhania powder or any brand of chicken masala available in the market. Fry to light brown.
    6. Add water and cook the chicken for about 5 minutes.
    7. Now add the chopped tomatoes and curd. Stir well and add salt.
    8. Cook until the chicken is done.
