  • 1 chicken
  • 250 gms - Onion
  • 100 gms - Cream
  • 50 gms - Ginger
  • 25 gms - Garlic
  • 5 gms - Turmeric
  • 2 gms cumin powder
  • 5 gms - Fennel (saunf) seeds
  • 1 bunch green coriander
  • 5 gms - Garam masala (cinnamon, cardamom, cloves, bay leaves)
  • 5 gms - Chilli powder
  • Salt to taste

How to Make Chicken Jaipuri

  • Clean and cut chicken into small pieces.
  • Grind together onions, garlic, ginger, turmeric, cumin powder, fennel seeds and chilli powder to a smooth paste.
  • Add 1/4th of the masala to chicken and set it aside.
  • Heat oil, add garam masala and ground masala.
  • Fry well till oil separates.
  • Add chopped tomatoes and fry well, then add chicken with sufficient water to cook it.
  • When chicken is cooked, add chopped green coriander and cream just before serving and serve hot.
