Ingredients

  • 1 Chicken (about 2 kgs)
  • 100 gms - Ghee
  • 4 Tomato
  • 1 large brown Onion
  • 25 mm - knob fresh Ginger
  • 2 Cloves Garlic
  • 25 gms - chilli powder
  • 25 gms - coriander powder
  • 2 tsp - Turmeric powder
  • 25 gms - Garam Masala
  • 25 gms - salt
  • How to Make Chicken Jalfrazi:

    1. Skin and de-bone the chicken and cut the meat into bite-size pieces.
    2. Chop the tomatoes, onion, ginger and garlic.
    3. Heat the ghee in a large pan and saute the chicken for about 10 mins.
    4. Add the onion, ginger, garlic and spice powders and cook for 15-20 mins, stirring frequently.
    5. Add the tomato and cook for a further 3-4 mins.
    6. Finally add salt and garam masala.
    7. Stir to blend thoroughly and transfer to a serving dish.
