Ingredients

  • 2 Chicken Breasts
  • 1 cup Flour
  • 1 cup Bread Crumbs
  • 1/2 tbsp Garlic powder
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 cup Buttermilk
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Baking Powder
  • Oil for deep frying
  • To whisk together:
  • 1 cup Water
  • 1/2 tbsp Soya Sauce
  • 1/2 tbsp Sugar
  • How to Make Chicken Katsu:

    1. Take a small zip lock bag. Add 1 beaten egg, buttermilk and garlic powder.
    2. Mix well and add the chicken breasts and shake well. Refrigerate it for 2 hrs.
    3. Take another small zip lock bag. Add flour, salt, baking powder, bread crumbs. Shake the bag well.
    4. Now add the marinated chicken to the above bag and shake till it is properly coated with flour breadcrumb mixture.
    5. Deep fry the chicken till golden brown.
