Ingredients

  • 700 g chicken, cut into small pieces
  • 18-20 French beans, cut into 1.5 " pieces
  • 2 - medium carrots, cut into 1.5 " pieces
  • 2 stalks - celery, chopped fine
  • 2 - capsicums, chopped fine
  • 1/2 cup - milk
  • 2 level tbsp - maida
  • 1 tsp - pepper
  • 1 tsp - mustard seeds
  • 1 tsp - salt
  • 4 tbsp - grated cheese

How to Make Chicken Kiev

  • In a casserole, mix together chicken, carrots, celery and French beans. Add 2-3 tbsp water and cover.
  • Microwave on high covered for 5 mins
  • Mix maida with milk so that no lumps remain. Add to chicken.
  • Add pepper, mustard, salt and capsicums. Mix well.
  • Microwave on high covered for 4 mins
  • Stir once after 2 min, otherwise the maida tends to settle down.
  • Add grated cheese. Mix well.
  • Microwave on high covered for 3 mins Let it stand for 1-2 mins
  • Mix and serve garnished with parsley or coriander.
