Ingredients

  • 1 kg - Chicken
  • 3 - sliced Onion
  • 2 bulbs - Garlic
  • 1/2 cup - Coconut Milk
  • 2 tsp - Garam Masala
  • 1 cup - Curd
  • 1/2 cup - Coriander leaves
  • 2 tbsp -cream
  • 30 g - Cashewnuts
  • 3 tsp - chilli powder
  • Salt to taste
  • How to Make Chicken Kuruma:

    1. Clean and wash the chicken and cut into big pieces.
    2. Fry half quantity of onion.
    3. Make a paste of the remaining onions, garlic, chilli powder and coriander leaves.
    4. Mix the chicken pieces with curd, onion paste and salt.
    5. Marinate chicken for 1 hour.
    6. Heat oil in a kadai. Saute chicken lightly.
    7. Simmer with 1.5 cup of boiled water.
    8. Make a mixture of cream, cashewnut paste and garam masala.
    9. When the chicken is cooked, add the mixture.
    10. Serve hot
