  • 1 cup - Basmati Rice
  • 1/2 " piece - Ginger
  • Salt to taste
  • Chicken - 500 g
  • How to Make Chicken Long Rice:

    1. Cover chicken pieces with water in a pan.
    2. Add half of the crushed ginger and salt and boil.
    3. In the meanwhile, soak the rice in water.
    4. Boil the chicken until tender.
    5. Remove the chicken pieces and debone.
    6. Reserve the stock.
    7. Put the chicken pieces back in the stock along with the rice.
    8. Cook until rice is tender.
    9. Serve hot with a curry.
