Ingredients

  • 1 cup - Basmati rice
  • 1/2 " piece - ginger
  • Salt to taste
  • Chicken - 500 g

How to Make Chicken Long Rice

  • Cover chicken pieces with water in a pan.
  • Add half of the crushed ginger and salt and boil.
  • In the meanwhile, soak the rice in water.
  • Boil the chicken until tender.
  • Remove the chicken pieces and debone.
  • Reserve the stock.
  • Put the chicken pieces back in the stock along with the rice.
  • Cook until rice is tender.
  • Serve hot with a curry.
